Directors & Officers Liability Insurance is protection for companies’ directors, senior management and officers. This policy will protect these individuals from claims arising from their decisions and actions taken in their day to day business activities.
All Directors & Officers should act with “a duty of care and skill”. The requirements of a Director & Officer is “ to act with the care an ordinary man would take in the same circumstances on his own behalf”. He or she “should also have a particular knowledge and experience” to hold the position.
